If I start a website on wordpress how do i put it on google or yahoo so it comes up as a link when someone looks it up!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Just about ever site in the world is on google , yahoo , ect…they search..and give your the most revelant results in a 1- — format…so..your site is on there..somewhere.
